ATVs and Horses

Happy Mother's Day, Moms!

Today we got a chance to relax a little, recover from the long plane ride and time change. The run and workout was really fun and energizing; however, the highlight of the day was the ATV and horseback safari at Forever Resort  nearby Prayer Mountain. Each of us go to choose our "mode of transportation." The weather is beautiful.

The Prayer Mountain has treated us like royalty and fed us really well. Thank-you so much for your comments. We love hearing from home.

We're having technical difficulties with pictures, but we'll do our best to upload them ASAP!

  1. Hi medical-team members. We are praying that you have a very fruitful and adventurous time in the South African veldt. We are following you vicariously through this Blog, by Google Earth and S. African travel journals. We look forward to your journals and photographs. Stay safe on the ATV's and on the out-look for "critters".

  5. I'm glad to see that you all are actually enjoying yourself. I'm assuming that since Christina already did horseback riding she probably opted for the ATV. Christina...your mother wanted me to tell you and I quote..."When you contact Christina let her know I got her card and the flowers from her and Michelle and both are beautiful and let her know I love her and am very proud of her".

Hope you are having fun...Love you as always!

  7. We are all praying for you, as you see patients: may you open your hearts to understand and feel what they are going thru, may you have insight and wisdom in helping them, patience in everything, and for the students the ability to learn quickly and teach all your patients something of lasting value.
I hope you can share some photos; you probably need to resize them to about 100K or less... Please send my love and give a hug to Beth and Darryl for me!

  11. Hi Everyone,
The work you are doing is so amazing. I know you have learned so much about caring and showing compassion for others. The Lord is doing many great works through your faith in him. How great is our God...
    Travis,
Dad and I miss you but we know you are doing great things sharing your faith in God. We cannot wait to see pictures and hear your many stories you have to tell. I hope you have shared your gift of singing with everyone on this trip.
    Love you very much,
    Love,
    Dad and Mom
